Mine is still there too, but not on the ceiling.
Mine has lost his ceiling tile... he is now "stuck in an overhead desklamp cat"!
i will say this: there is a ceiling cat now in an office of one of the largest book publishers in all the world... he's happy!
The 4 foot wide cat I built a few years ago for Burning Man is still happily watching from a ceiling at a local hackerspace.

I put a half dozen up in the office's of one of the UK's leading ISPs..One still survives, hehehe..

I made one for my dorm room. My roommate thought it was weird, but she didn't understand what Ceiling Cat was. Sadly, he was crushed when I moved out. I plan on making a new one for my house.

Ceiling cat has moved house with us and now watches you pee in the downstairs loo.I will be making moar >^.^<

There is a ceilingcat in my school, and its like 10m upp to the ceiling so no one can hurt him. It's been there since may. :)
It's still in my bedroom, for around 2 years now ever since I'd moved in.
