meow again, its time for papercraft tribute... this time to the little cat i've seen
around who can play the keyboard. All cats can play the keyboard but only
some make it to the big time. This is a special papercraft because it can move
if you (carefully) turn the little handle. I made this papercraft a while ago but
haven't put it out because I think its very hard to make, so I made a happy
papercraft instruction video animation to watch to help anyone who wants to try.
I think you should only try this one if you are good atpapercraft or really bored though. You have to be very
careful when you make it. Sometimes depending on the
thickness of you paper or card you have to adjust things
like the size of the holes...scary now? woooo, its scary.
click on the little image to make it go bigger, think
carefully about this one when you are making it. Also,
if you do finish it, don't turn the little handle until it is
dry (even then you should be careful) or you will cry
when it breaks like I did the first time. Good luck, and Please
watch the following video for the instructions or to enjoy
and have a happy time (don't blink) and scary...
(please note this video doesn't show every every thing but those bits are easy, please enjoy^-^)

Holy cats, thank you for making this. I may go crazy putting it together but it'll be worth every paper cut to have my own keyboard cat to play me off.

Scribblenauts on Nintendo DS also features keyboard cat!
i am going to laminate it before i do it! make it last longer!

It just so happens I have bumped into the complete reverse of a cat playing the keyboard... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katzenklavier

I have already done it!
actually it is easy...<3
whoa awesome I've never done something like this before, it's really cool! It worked without the crank, now it's drying. I'm afraid it'll fall apart when I try it with the crank.
Ooooo ^.^ I'm going to do it. Once I do this one, I will have officially made all of your blog paper crafts (for now) o.o they are too fun.<3
Great job on the pattern! I motorized it and connected it to an Easy button (with sound). Here's a clip of it in action:
Keyboard MechArduino Cat!
Hope you like it!
Absolutely loved the papercraft, BUT THE VIDEO SUCKS! I realized in the end that i forgot to glue both E and F to the pole-thingy. That was really hard to make, because my flap wasn't printed. You must be using american format or something because it got really messed up on a european printer... the internet is global you know... the random dogs and stuff are just annoying and not funny. the animations were ok. please be a bit more clear in the future!! You have great ideas!
I love your blog. Please keep up the good work.
Reaaly nice blog, love the papercrafts. fav+
I made it!
Great job! But it doesn't turn very well...
Anyway, nice blog huh?
Keep it up =D
this is really awesome!
I'll be doing it for sure.
thanks for posting this.
I just wanted to come back after thinking about this for a few weeks and tell you that, for my money, the video associated with this is literally the best thing on the internet. Thank you.
cute, but really complicated to make... the video needed a few more instructions for the itty bitty stuff...
Hi I just finished making mine! Unfortunately I cannot get the mechanism to work! but I don't care because it is sooo cute to look at!!!
Thanks for making this!!
I always check your blog and it always makes me smile!!!

Ahhhh... cute!!! :)
Sharing!!!
Good blogging!
It wasnt complicated at all! Easy and awesome automation papercraft. The only thing I found that could be improved was the design of handle to turn, as it was unstable and wanted to break off when I turned it.
Thanks a lot, I really enjoyed making this one!
i did it! works excelent! thanks!!!
thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
